Joe fell in love with House music at the age of fifteen when he accidently stumbled across Girls FM while tuning the radio. Within a few months of hearing what he now knows to have been the classic track 'Deep Inside' by Hard Drive, he began buying as much vinyl as he could afford at the time to play on his parents old fashioned record player. It wasn't until his sixteenth birthday, when his dad got him a second-hand pair of turntables and a mixer, that Joe started to learn the art of Djing albeit in his bedroom!
After years of recording many mix tapes at home and playing at friends house parties, he was finally talked into taking his DJing further by a good friend in 2005 and took his first booking ever from another friend who was putting on a party at the plush Po Na Na club on Chelsea's Kings Road (London). He played between Midnight and 1am while MC DT hosted the set. After that, there was no looking back for Joe. He wanted to be a DJ and nothing else! 
Since that eventful night back in 2005, Joe has played at all the big UK Garage events under the 'Joe Oldskool' name, including: *underground, The Spreadlove Project, Sundaze and Roast to name a few. Under his alias 'Just Joe' he has played at numerous House events and graced the decks at The White House, Club Aquarium, The Clapham Grand and Club Colosseum among others. Joe annually plays at festivals in The Netherlands and has also played at Ibiza's exclusive Es Vive hotel. Appearing alongside the biggest names on both scenes, including Martin Ikin (Soul Purpose), Matt 'Jam' Lamont, Spoony, Victor Simonelli, MJ Cole, Booker T, Dominic 'Spreadlove' and Pied Piper, Joe can more than hold his own with the big name DJ's!
