Dr. Acula

Here's a dub-influenced track I made on the Akai MPC One. The bassline was made on my Moog Grandmother and chopped up a little throughout. Big up to Black Market Dub for the inspiration to finish a track like this.

Nightrider

I made this one a while back and it was the beginning of what I think of as my dub experiments. Not really dub, I know, but it helps me get into the mindset or something. Let me now what you think.

Chrome Version

This is my bootleg remix of Super Sharp Shooter for the Reddit Jungle February Beat Battle. I reproduced the bass on my Moog Grandmother and made the track on my MPC One. I pilfered the cold sweat break for some additional sounds not heard in the original and substituted a spaghetti western pistol sound effect because I love spaghetti, westerns and spaghetti westerns.

Super Sharp Shooter Remix

I started this one back in January and am just getting it finished now. Made entirely on my Akai MPC One. 175 BPM. You pay for the whole seat but you'll only need the edge. This song contains a sample of The Going is Rough by Home T., Cocoa Tea & Cutty Ranks.

Weirdly Gruesome

Here's a new one made on my MPC One. The title is the name of Arnold's nemesis (never seen onscreen) from Diff'rent Strokes. 165 BPM.

The Gooch

This is the result of a collaboration between Aights and I. Such a fun time trading this track back and forth and I had a great partner on this in Aights! Thanks, I'm looking forward to the next one Aights. Bloodclaat jungle techno!

I've had this one done for a while but couldn't come. up with a title. This was the best I could come up with. Made on my MPC One except for the whistle synth which I recorded off my Moog Grandmother. Bernie Worrell Mode: ACTIVATE. 168 BPM.

Here's a slower tempo one (97 BPM). I'm a big fan of DJs/producers like DJ Shadow, Mixmaster Mike, Cut Chemist etc. I was inspired to make a track along those lines. Did I hit it or miss it? You be the judge. Thanks for taking a listen.

Hey everyone, here's a new one. Is it jungle is it breakcore or something else entirely? Scientists remain baffled. This one goes out to Audio Disciples (aka Major Dubz) a true inspiration and all around good dude. This one was made on my MPC One at 85 BPM (aka 170 BPM) and contains a sample from the Bounty Killer track Deadly Zone. Also, here's a link to an animated version of the cover art. The Bride of Crankenstein

Right up front I must confess, there's no Sinatra or Godzilla in this track. That's just some slick marketing wizardry. I recorded the bass line on this one off my Moog Sub Phatty. I'm not sure if this one is too fragmented or what? It was a fun one to make anyway. Lemme know what you think.

Sinatra Versus Godzilla

Here's a new one. I was trying to make this one sound like a interstellar voyage that somehow veers into 4D space. Not sure if I entirely nailed that or even what it means really. I purposely kept the vocal samples to a minimum as I wanted it to focus on sterile, machine-like qualities. I am pleased with the bass at the end and how it sounds like earth moving equipment. 85 BPM.

Deep Space Tesseract

This will be my last track of 2023 and goes out to all of my friends here on Soundcloud. You all killed it this year and I know you'll kick beaucoup ass again next year. 

The title of this one is a twist on the name of a Parliament track. Not really related otherwise. I just put breakbeat for genre but this one goes in a few directions. Starts off at 141 BPM and ends at 161. There are some Busta Rhymes samples in there and a little splash of ACID! Enjoy and Happy New Year to you all.

Alright, here's the first one of 2024. This one wasn't without its share of roadblocks but I was recently able to get just drunk enough to figure out how to finish it. Thank you to Jim Beam and Coors Brewing Co. 144 BPM.

Burrito XL

The idea of creating theme songs for non-existent TV shows occurred to me recently and this track is the outcome of that. It's a shorter track but probably still a little too long for a TV theme. I'll be experimenting more with this idea. I play some guitar in this sumbitch too.

I named this one after a movie I enjoy by Alejandro Jodorowsky. If you like surreal art films from the 70s you might like it too. The track has nothing to do with the movie really it just seemed like a good name. Lemme know what you think.
