This song is about a girl.. with hips? Heh, heh.. ehh. I like the sound of minor key grooves and I found a few neat chords and this song came out! Other than the chords and words, the music was written by the performing musicians known as The Groove. Joelson Ethridge on lead guitar and clarinet, Shawn Eby on Bass, Evin Mitchell on Drums with the recording done by Housecar Studios owned and operated by Shawn Eby and Joelson Ethridge.

"Dig Your Stuff" is a song I wrote a few years ago and once I surrounded myself with some top-notch musicians, I figured it would be fun to see where it went. I just let the musicians hear what they hear and the song took shape without very much input from me. Then when I heard the music, I did my best to match the vocals. It's fun... that's genre we were going for. 

We were fortunate enough to get some great sounding tracks of trumpet playing by our dearly departed friend Stan Baron who has left a big whole in the band and our hearts after his untimely passing last year. We miss you Stan!! Every time we play a song we all hear a heavenly trumpet in our heads.
