I'm delighted to have on the legendary Ken Brady for this months Fantasia!! I've been a big fan of Kens for a long time now and it was such a pleasure to have him  in the studio last week!! Ken has been djing since the late 80s in Ireland which is right down my ally!! Ireland was very iconic for it's clubbing scene back in the 90s, we had clubs like the Aslyum, Olympic ballroom and so many more so to hear that sound form a pure source was amazing!! Such a fun set so get ready to be taken on a lovely journey WOooooo

Fresh off the back of the label’s busiest and most acclaimed year yet, Peggy Gou’s Gudu Records kicks off 2024 with the launch of a new EP series, titled Club Gudu.

A home for dance singles aimed squarely at the club, Club Gudu is all about instinct and not overthinking – offering the label’s roster and extended family an outlet for their dancefloor impulses, indulges and when it suits them, experiments.

Club Gudu 001 comes from Dukwa, the Florence-based artist who has proved a favourite with Solomun, Ben UFO, Pete Tong, Seth Troxler and naturally, Peggy herself. It marks his third appearance on Gudu following 2022’s Matter of Time EP and a contribution to 2023’s Gudu & Friends compilation, and showcases him at his stripped-down, precision-tooled best.

In Dukwa’s words: “how a photographer captures memories in photos, I do the same with music. I recorded these tracks during a very strange period of my life, full of changes. I was trying to ‘Take Me Away’ from a ‘Digital Forest’ I had fallen into, unable to clearly see what was happening around me. Then I found ‘The Hedge’, I crossed it, and I realized it was just my life that once again proved to me that I am stronger than I think. Life is wonderful.”

A mix inspired by the Walled Garden stage at Gottwood. After seeing the likes of Hamish & Toby, Sonja Moonear, Gene on Earth and The Ghost there over the years, it has quickly become one of our favourite ever festival stages. We’ve heard some of the best music to date between those walls and we cannot wait to get back there again this year.

Inspired By: Gottwood, The Walled Garden - Ecks Etra

Coming straight from Marseille, they are as good friends behind the decks as in life, and both manage the label Don’t Need A Million which highlights the emerging French scene.

During a release party at the Rex club in Paris organized by the Pont Neuf label in 2019, Trax magazine presented the Dub Stiker as « the young tenors of French house » with Ethyène, Tour-Maubourg, Vitess, KX9000 and Deborah Aime La Bagarre.

Studio accomplices for 10 years, it was in 2017 that they revealed themselves to the world with their release on STRCTR, where their strong title « Mood » appeared alongside the other classics « Please Stay » and « Decompression » by Matthieu Faubourg and Harrison BDP.
Since then, they have confirmed with remarkable releases on Hustler Trax, Maestropolis, or even on Happiness Therapy.
