It's 2023 and Volume 11 of my pilgrimage into deep electronic rhythms for the mind, body and soul is right here.  There's been some amazing music released this year and here are some of my favourites with a few old gems thrown in to steady the ship.

This edition was created with 2 x thermo mixers (suspended in love swings) 1 x black and decker hedge trimmer and a mug of Horlicks.

In Deepest BN1 Volume 11

Joe has been been trying to craft the perfect transition between two records for the last 30 years,  one day he'll get there but until then,  welcome to the official home of Brutal Willis where we specialise in the exclusive currency of Global Electronic Soul. 

I managed Vinyl Frontier Records in Woking,  Surrey for the best part of a decade..... living, breathing,  loving and sharing repetitive beats.   I have been fortunate enough to grace the platters at lots of different clubs,  events and festivals up and down the country and Europe.  I co ran the legendary night "Shuffle" (which may come back one day).  I won the coveted "bedroom bedlam" mixtape award for Muzik magazine, residencies at the Cross, The Pool , Piranah's and 333 in London and was awarded the Percy Thrower Lifetime achievement award for services to the green plant.  I have played at Glastonbury, The Big Chill, Kimberley, Orchard amongst  many others and more recenly a regular fixture at the Give ! festival for House of Honey.   These day's I can be found deep in stock pots working culinary magic for all kinds of people,  however you may still catch me behind the platters (that matter) as much as I can.  I love music with a captivating groove, a glowing warmth,  sincerity and emotion however it comes and still relish the opportunity to share my sounds manually through the medium we know as Vinyl.  As long as it's available I will continue to support it,  everything about it just works and I believe it helps strengthen our beloved scene.
