If These Kitchen Walls Could Talk is the sophomore studio album from Stove God Cooks, following up 2020’s Reasonable Drought. It was released exclusively to Stove’s website on November 26, 2021. It is described by Stove himself as a “musical art piece.” Back in September 2021, in one of Westside Gunn’s songs “Ostertag,” Stove mentioned about the album, saying that he may sell his next album for a million dollars and only seven copies of the album will be sold. "I might sell my next shit for a million (For a million) Only seven copies and I’m dead for real (I’m so serious)" The dream will soon turn into a reality, as the album was released two months later. The album was only accessed through Stove’s website, where only seven copies are made and were being sold for a million dollars each. This would have technically beaten Wu-Tang Clan’s seventh studio album, Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, as being the most expensive work of music ever being sold, with Stove making seven million dollars, had all seven copies were sold. However, the website has been taken down. A couple of days before the BandCamp “release,” a new website, godcooks.com, was launched with a countdown of something releasing, with a snippet of “Warren Moon” being played. After total silence about the album, on January 23, 2023, the album finally saw a public release via BandCamp. That same day, the album was removed with Cooks stating on twitter, “It’s not real.” This confirms that Stove had not approved the release through BandCamp. From the BandCamp tracklist, Earl Sweatshirt serves as the album’s sole feature, while Roc Marciano provides production for the entire album. https://linktr.ee/stovegodcooks
