Exit99 are bringing the bumping vibes back to the UK Garage sound. A collaborative project between, Arctic who has previously released on Liminal Sounds and Coyote Records and Alaska the founding member of well established rave crew One Puf from Melbourne, Australia.

‘Ravers’ is their first official release under their Exit99 guise; the title track is most definitely aimed at those on the dance floor. Jungle breakbeats fuse with old skool stabs over a 2-Step beat creating a driving energy; the warping bass line compliments the other elements giving it a raw but fun edge that brings the vibes. B-Side ‘Step Away’ is a more blissed out affair with female vocals and pads smattered across the arrangement to great effect, one for relaxed summer days. On the remixes Coldpast takes ‘Ravers’ into more gritty UKG territory without losing any of the energy of the original and Smutlee slows down ‘Step Away’ to fit a dancehall tempo.
