Space Medicine is the practice of Deep Organic Music on astronauts in outer space. Tremulant is the application of science and technology to the prevention or control of exposure to the hazards that may cause space wanderers ill health. Tremulant works to ensure that people in space work in a safe environment while experiencing the freshest sounds from planet Earth.

"I've long loved the intersection of music that is at once melodic, dark and fucking weird while still holding a groove. One of the bizarre silver linings about lockdown life was rediscovering this passion, particularly at slower, spacious tempos. So I couldn't possibly turn down the opportunity to throw together a mix for Tremulant exploring where their deeper, downtempo house vibes meet my global, radicalized acid explorations."

Tacoma, WA-based DJ/producer Devin Kelly (AKA Adlib) has been an unwavering techno activist for over 25 years. Whether it was through his humble beginnings in small town Idaho or his decade-plus residencies with the Shameless (Seattle) and Monkey Do (Los Angeles) DJ crews, he has long been at the center of the region’s dance music underground. His mixture of heady yet crowd rocking house and techno cuts earn him regular headlining spots at clubs, renegade parties and festival across the Western US and beyond. But he is best known for his co-creation of the legendary Esthetic Evolution music and arts festival and his long career as a political and community organizer. These backgrounds bring a sense of collective empowerment, resistance and celebration into all of his DJ sets and events. His newest project, “For Love and Struggle,” uses music, community and social commentary to bridge these worlds, because there are 33 revolutions on the turntable and one in the streets.

As summer gradually yields to fall, we find ourselves reminiscing about the long, sun-soaked days spent on sandy shores, where lunch gatherings seemed to cease time. The rhythms of time refuse to let us pause, as we swim in circles at the waters embrace. Much like Friedrich Kunath's painting suggests, 'You won't believe where I am.' I found myself lounging on a couch at Casa Reia in Caparica, Portugal, nursing a freshly broken leg, surrounded by friends and my gracious hosts: Sacha, Melody, Emil, and Duda. I played songs that I had cherished over the decades—tunes meant for listening, swaying, sipping, and ultimately, for fading into. I hope you enjoy the journey. - Miro

011 is a collection of music where punk and pop and funk and highlife and reggae and hip hop all get together for something delightful. it features a lot of musicians who grew out of their breakthrough sounds and in my opinion matured for the better, like mick jones who left the clash and got together with music video director don letts to form big audio dynamite. i spent a few weeks getting this right, it was a lot of fun and i hope you enjoy it as much as i do /2023-07

2022 marked my 7th burn - and it was by far my hardest.  It's no secret that the playa was unforgiving.  

Unprecedented bumpy roads, insane white-out early build conditions, and global warming induced heat waves made this years burn pretty SHITTY.  Truly fighting for survival while having the best time of your life (HA).  12 days on playa and my body is broken, my wheels have come off, I’ve lost a bunch of stuff incl my mind…..but regardless my heart was still a buzz ✨✨

Going solo was a new experience.  From driving a box truck while towing an art car, to learning to work with generators in the quest for a cool AC sleep…..going to hell station to pump gas…..it wasn’t at all easy.  I spent the first 3 days crying and purging all the feels from the last few years.  Planning weddings, DJing, hearding a crew of faffing cats with a megaphone…..all part of the experience.  To the lady who thought I worked the VIP line at a certain art car with mega lazers, may my ill-fitted suit and a dated microsoft headset forever be your guiding light to getting up on the bus 🤣

I’m grateful to have this place of self expression and discovery, where each year my community grows….so many friends, so many laughs!  this is why I keep coming back over and over….just like a big family reunion with a bunch of creative FREAKS ☺️.  No limits on what is possible…..and no amount of photos will ever capture the micro-moments of ingenuity, wit or humor.  It is incredible how resourceful and resilient burners are.  and how infectious the feeling of mass participation is 💓

My set at Pink Mammoth was a piece of this moment captured in time, and I hope this recording can get you excited to return to the playa this year, when many of us sit it out!  The fire burns on! xx
