Built from the underground, accessible for the mainstream, Township Rebellion has found a way to captivate, regardless of personal taste. In the studio, they are constantly at work creating vibrant, moody, driving tracks that have helped them find support from the likes of Kellerkind, Oliver Koletzki and Moonbootica to name a few. When it comes to DJ’ing Township Rebellion are regular faces in the German club and festival scene, often rocking crowds in the thousands with their perfectly crafted sets.
Their debut on Parquet Recordings "Challenger" was released in May 2017 and remained a couple of weeks in the techno charts at beatport. Welcome the three guys and enjoy listening to their exclusive mix for our Parquet Mixtape Series.

Dresdener Jonas Woehl kicks off the fall season by bringing his driven and melancholic style to Simina Grigoriu’s Kuukou imprint for the first time, in the shape of two original tracks and two remixes.

The release opens up with a slow paced, gradually unfolding melody. Lasting is a poised, laid back piece whose dance-inducing groove is fit for the mellower times of a set, ready to wind up the crowd.

Times dives in with a bit more panache, in the same progressively unraveling manner. Using metallic synths and zig-zagging riffs, the artist channels a dark ambient in a highly dynamic composition.

Julian Wassermann swoops in on the remix, turning it into a winding slice of late night Techno that raises pulses and spirits altogether.

Taking on Times, Munich-based Future Proof showcases his remixing chops, having previously released on labels such as Moonboutique, Whatiplay and Bouq. The result is a morphed, jarring rendition of the original, with an emphasis on a bouncy and impetuous bassline.
