This Sunday, February 4th, @ 10 AM, The Wilderness, Part 5 “Stop Complaining”
Well, the Israelites are only about forty-five days into their journey on their way to Mount Sinai. Within three days, they were already griping and complaining, by forty-five days they were ready to return to Egypt and were accusing God of some sadistic plan to bring them into the desert to starve them. You see, ingratitude is the mother of all sins, and complaining is the primary symptom when the disease reaches its latter stages...for gratitude, peace, and contentment, ingratitude, and complaining, are all interrelated! For the first time since they were delivered, God will express His concern that they are not capable of obeying Him...for the first time in only forty-five days, cracks begin to appear in the relationship between God and those He delivered from bondage in Egypt.
