Decided to make another Soundcloud since I've maxed out my main one and don't want to pay for Pro anymore. 

I'm making a beat for Synthwave/Downtempo , I've added a Synth pad because when my opinion is that a beat out of context sometimes doesn't good , the other elements around it makes the beat even better than it is. It also made me change the BPM to 92 when I've added the Synth pad, for the reasons stated previously. 

Had to make a 32 bar Beat with at least one fill , I did the same beat all over with two 1 bar fills , decided to put at least a synth pad with the Ableton Wavetable Synth aside from that I only used compression and some reverb. I made my own drum rack with samples from my library. The assignments for the 2 first modules need to be done pretty much with stock plugins only so I am getting used to these rules right now.

I'll try to explain the beat the best I can : I did a very simple beat at the beginning starting with the kick on the downbeat and the snare on the upbeat , all on quarter notes. I've put the  closedHihats on the downbeat and open hihats on the upbeat , I did an exception on the second kick I am skipping the open hihat and playing 3 closed hihats to give some variation. I've did also 2 toms except of 1 on the downbeat on the second half of the bar. 

This was actually the first beat I've programmed myself , I was using only midi clips up to that point in my songs , I should have practiced that this Summer but better late than never I guess.

So now for Ableton Music Production class I needed to compose a track in Session View , which I haven't done before I was only using arrangement view before. Decided to record some Experimental Guitar tracks and use some Drum tracks , then I've added some other clips that would blend well with my tracks. 

So the result is something very different than what I usually do , that should be ok for this exercise , I'll work on something different with my own programmed drums for the assignment. I'll make an Industrial/Dark Ambient track for the assignment which I'll make in the same process used for this exercise ! 

There's absolutely no mixing done on this,  only fading out the tracks at the end , no effects whatsoever.
