FMA Brotherhood - Sountrack

This is a straight remake of a piece from the Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood soundtrack by Akira Senju. I wanted to get a close to the original piece as possible using samples only. I remade this from scratch by ear so some notes may be wrong or slightly different - there also may be minor changes due to sample limitations. The string runs also sound awful. If anyone can recommend a decent string run library (other than OSR) or a technique with multisamples I'd appreciate it :)

The Youtube video shows FL Studio playing back the piece for anyone who's interested - the timing is a little off but it's too late to fix that and I want to be done with this piece.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood - Philosophorum Omega Remake

This is quite an old one now but I'm reposting it on soundcloud. This is a straight remake of the 'Laws of Alchemy' cue from the FMA Brotherhood soundtrack. I listened to the original and recreated this from ear to see how close I could get with my current music setup. Random facts - 1.7gb of instruments were preloaded into memory to create this. Around 7gb of instruments were streamed from the hard drive to play this. It uses 15 Kontakt MIDI tracks.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood - Laws of Alchemy Remake

Another attempt at remaking this awesome track from Akira Senju's Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood soundtrack. This time I was using the latest commercially available samples I have so that I could put this as part of my 'Capabilities of the Orchestra' articles.

Fullmetal Alchemist - Laws of Alchemy Remake (2012)

The Lapis Philosophorum piano solo from FMA:Brotherhood is one of the only things I can really play that well on piano. This started off as me simply recording myself performing the piece but I went back to it and added strings, dings and tings as accompaniment. I wanted to keep the piano as the main focus of the piece considering it's originally a solo.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood - Lapis Philosophorum Piano & Orchestra

Just a little remake of Lullaby of Resembool from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood's awesome soundtrack. I've been working on a sample library recently and not had any time to compose so I figured I'd have a quick play with it. Made in roughly an hour or so from start to finish.

Didn't think I'd have to put this, but ::Disclaimer:: This is not a demo of Sable and is not made to demonstrate it's capabilities - there will be plenty of demos on the Spitfire site showing what it can do. This is simply me playing about with a new toy I helped make to recreate a piece of music I love.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood: Lullaby of Resembool (Re)Orchestra

Just a little remake of One is All, All is One from the Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood soundtrack. It's mostly faithful to the original but has little bits of Blake-Spin in it. It's a bit rough around the edges but I didn't want to spend too much time on it, so this is about 45 minutes of work.
