Smash The House label boss and half of legendary duo with Like Mike, Dimitri Vegas returns to his own imprint House of House alongside musical titan Steve Aoki and UK based selector Chapter & Verse on the energetic house banger, ‘Friends’!

House of House is Dimitri Vegas’ very own offshoot label and as part of the Smash The House family, is a weapon to elevate and push Dimitri’s constant evolvement which has currently taken a turn down a more, fundamentally, house-influenced, refreshing sound. ‘Friends’ is no different, as the tag-team give their updated rendition of a familiar dance classic by Justice & Simian, utilising the iconic vocal track and housing it within thumping and atmospheric house music production. 

Taking spinning, rising synthlines and muted kick-drums, its funky and jackin’-ready beat adds a groove that won’t hesitate to get bodies moving. Packing a punch with key stabs and rolling bass, come the breakdown, the rotating vocal of “We Are…” mesmerises the listener into an indoctrinated state. Euphoric yet weighty in merging the old and new school together, Dimitri Vegas and Chapter & Verse have brought their signature styles to the table.

At this point in his career Dimitri Vegas is a name that needs no introduction - best known for his epic contributions to dance music alongside his brother Like Mike - however in recent years the dance music juggernaut has been experiencing serious success with his solo efforts. His standalone debut ‘Pull Me Closer’ was the perfect segue into solo material for Dimitri, as he has continued to flow into this house-influenced avenue, with ‘Friends’ being the latest to wow a range of fans familiar to his music.

Steve Aoki is nothing short of a legend in the scene, from being one of the highest-grossing touring artists on the planet, Aoki has certified himself as a household name thanks to hits including ‘Boneless’, ‘No Beef’ and ‘Just Hold On’. Aswell as collaborating with the likes of Will.I.Am, Afrojack, BTS and Blink 182, Steve Aoki is also 1/3 of the fantastic 3 Are Legend Supergroup, alongside Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, as he now returns here with the former to bring the house down!

Chapter & Verse is one of the fastest rising and most exciting UK-based DJ and producers in the global dance and electronic music scene.
