I wrote this song for my wonderful daughter, Courtney, for her 16th birthday. Courtney chose this song for our daughter/father dance at her wedding. I was living in Colorado when I wrote this, so you'll notice the visuals in the lyrics. I played acoustic guitar and sang lead, then sang my own background vocals and recorded some lead licks on my Telecaster.
