We wanted to write a song about staying positive and just being yourself in the face of adversity. When you’re in a sticky situation, whether that be seeing someone you don’t like or being uncomfortable in a social setting, it can cause you to start having doubts or negative thoughts, but it’s important to stay motivated and not get caught up too much in your head, so that’s what the song is about. You won’t be comfortable all the time in life, but in those moments we’re reminding you not to take life too seriously, not to worry about minor things; just flex your individuality and keep doing you.
