L: Joe Lewandowski but you know me better under my other alias Robert Lewandowski

HRDF: How did you discover this track ?
L: I discovered it pretty young and for me it was a shock. I only understood sex and it was pretty shocking to hear something that outrageous on TV. 

HRDF: Why do you choose to edit it ?
L: I usually work on more underground tracks but I wanted to work on a massive hit for  this one and turn it into a space weird erotica track.

HRDF: What are your upcoming plans ?
L: Working on my new live for this summer and trying to win the Ballon D'or next year.

Amsem is proud to host an interpretation of the rising Shubostar from the new EP of Joe Lewandowski DAHLIA.
With this new EP, Joe explores different territories from Indie Dance to EBM with always the same sound signature rock driven rhythms mixed with psychedelic textures. By creating his own universe, influenced by transe, hindi dance and satured guitars, this EP sounds like a trip though dreams and delusion. Despite its diversity, it keeps though each track its tension and energy with 4 tracks directly made for dance floors.

Quality House music from Paris has become synonymously with each release from Friendsome Records, an imprint run by several artists rooted the thriving French (underground) House scene. For the fifth release on Friendsome Records and successor of Cogan's Power Source EP, Joe Lewandowski delivers four tracks, which cover sounds and arrangements designed for the clubs as well as for listening pleasures. Lewandowski's Clair​-​Obscur EP thereby explores various sides of electronic music, namely those of House, Deep House and Acid. Power, feat. Manlia, is an Acid-influenced dancefloor oriented take, which comes in with a lush bassline. Latter goes perfectly with the Acid-line while both smoothly harmonize with Manila's vocals. For sure Power has, like the track title suggests, the strength to tear floors up whether during peak time or in the early morning hours.

Biography
After years of grinding his teeth as a rock guitarist, Joe Lewandowski began mixing in New York's vibrant raves and clubs. Once back in France, Joe immersed himself in the Parisian underground scene as both an artist and the artistic director of Pamela, an inclusive and alternative club. He quickly established himself as a unique and multi-faceted talent within the French music scene.
Joe has released a wide range of music, from disco edits to indie dance and trancy tracks, on labels such as Dischi Autunno, Skylax, Hard Fist, Kitsuné, and AMSEM. His sound is fused by the pulsating rhythms of techno and trance, the groove of house music and the raw energy of rock. Major underground artists, including Lauer, Kasper Bjørke, and Shubostar have remixed his work.
As an accomplished musician, Joe plays all the instrumental parts in his tracks and live performances. His DJ sets seamlessly cross genres, blending unexpected musical treasures. Thanks to his open-minded philosophy, he has become a resident DJ at renowned clubs such as Sacré and the historic Carmen, while also performing at raves, festivals, and clubs worldwide.
The year 2025 marks a significant milestone in Joe's career with the release of his new EP, Expectasis, the launch of his label Lovondasky, and international recognition, including performances for Hör and Beatport.
