Selections from the score for a 2022 Austin 48 Hour Film Project film. The film did not ultimately use the score and 'went in a different direction'.

It was a romantic comedy and I was asked to feature a 'lonely trumpet' and make it 'jazzy'. I used a 'flugelhorn' for a trumpet.

Little Boy's Deepest Needs is about connecting with the little boy you once were when all the world was perfect and all your needs were met. This music which supports the complete 20 minute live visualization helps you get in touch with that little boy. The live visualization takes place on the New Warrior weekend (www.mkp.org).  Written in Feb., 2009.

As this story about a boy, the piece is heavily dominated by harp and flute until the final theme when it goes to full orchestra.

The whole piece up until the theme has been scored for a live performance by: 2 violins, viola, cello, bass, piano, harp, flute, oboe, bassoon, and french horn.

Won "Best Score" in the 2017 for "Hotline" and nominated for Best Score in 2017 for "The Last Command" and 2019 for "A Dog And Her Boy" and in 2023 for "Love Llike A Hero" and "Storm Watch".  Also nominated for "Notes (2018)" for "Best Sound Design"

Scored/co-produced "Elegantia" which won Houston 2013 48 hour MVP (8 awards) and then placed 2nd to Paris Internationally at Filmapalooza (4 awards). Scored "Gift Of Grace" which won best Kidvid film at 168 Film Festival. "The Door" and "Independent Living" won best Documentary at the 2017 & 2019 168 Film Festivals respectively.

Won "Listen And Exchange" music producer competition six years in a row.

Writes both live and electronic / sampled music for both instrumental and vocal performances. Writes in multiple genres including film/tv scores/themes/cues, classical (baroque through late romantic periods), jazz (small ensemble, bebop and big band), pop, adult contemporary and Christmas (and sometimes contemporary Christian). Arranges charts and arrangements for other bands as well as creating pop/jazz hit arrangements for a big band (live) as well as playing keyboards with them.
