The Sword of Ianna - game soundtrack (ZX Spectrum 128 / MSX-2 / Amstrad CPC)

This music was part of the soundtrack for an unreleased game named Sokoban Perfect, made in 1991 for the ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC and MSX computers.

This was composed for the Space stage, and a sort of homage to one of my favorite games - Galaxian.

I completely forgot I did this track! It sounds only when the game is loaded into a ZX Spectrum 48k. Recorded directly from a real ZX Spectrum +.

With a mixture of "Barbarian" and "Prince of persia" gameplay styles, along with impressive design, graphics and animations, we hope you'll love the game.

I wanted to create a very atmospheric soundtrack for the AY PSG, well far from the catchy and rhythmic music I used to do back in the late 80’s. It's been 26 years now since my last ZX Spectrum soundtrack! This one will reset the counter again : )

The Sword Of Ianna - Fortress of Kashgar (ZX Spectrum 128 / MSX-2, 2017)

Another of the tracks from the new ZX Spectrum and MSX-2 game - The Sword of Ianna - by Retroworks (www.retroworks.es).

The game will be presented and released next 30th of September, 2017 in the first RetroZaragoza event.

This will be my next ZX and MSX full soundtrack since 1990 I think. The last one was probably Mystical. I composed very long soundtrack later (Sokoban) during the military service in 1991, but the game wasn't released.

It wasn't easy to come up with this soundtrack after so long, specially considering the style, which is very different from what I used to do, but in the end I'm quite happy with the result and I think it fits the game very well.
