There’s no holding back with this killer remix of Komodo’s 'Running To The Sun' by Eric Duncan. Within the first thirty seconds the drums are already rolling in like a build up to an epic John Bonham of Led Zeppelin fame drum solo. And this is key to this remix, the live drum pattern by Rafi Muhammad add an almost infectious groove to an already relentless jacking bass line. Creating a worthy support for stuttering, swirling arpeggios, fluttering acid lines and effects as they pierce through the smoke of a sweating, throbbing dance floor. And if this is still not enough, in come the wonderfully nagging old skool house chords, breaking up the intensity of this rollercoaster of a peak time track, providing a glowing warmth whilst giving off the sentimental feeling of piano laden house music of yesteryear.
