In early summer 2020, the world was shut down and our bodies were isolated from dancing joyfully alongside each other… Pink Pony Clubs in West Hollywood were a mere fantasy that a then-unknown queer pop artist named Chappell Roan longed for in song lyrics from her musical debut on the world stage. Fast forward three years and the world has reopened; “Pink Pony Club” became Vulture’s “Song of the Summer 2021,” a real Pink Pony Club debuted in the queer village at Burning Man in 2022, and Chappell Roan is now readying for the release of her first full-length studio album (and upcoming tour) in September 2023. In homage to one of the greatest new artists on the verge of superstardom, we present our dance floor take on this iconic queer AF anthem. did this for Columbia Records in April 2023. touches of all of us are evident here. that Kraftwerk-ish sequence on the 2nd drop is a trademark TS sound. new to the Brooklyn Fire family is JUSTNKAYSE who played the melodic elements & sang ad-libs to Miley's vocal & On Deck did his brilliant last touches & got the drums & the mix right. I started this one a while ago thinking it wasn’t sounding very good.. until I revisited it last week and realised - this could actually work!

While I’m not a massive fan of two song mashups, I figured I could try and sample Britney into Boss Bitch because of the similar vibes they have.. while making my own instrumental and giving both songs a completely different sound.

(Everything is better in life when Britney is involved..!)
