I then selected the piano VST and added the drums – all to create a basis for my saxophone.
The piano had some weird escapades, which made the improvisation exciting :-)

First snow yesterday, while I was twiddling around with some (purchased) piano midi files.
This came out as little impression after watching the whitening yard .... :)

My excerpt does not show the bird trap ;-) It is on the right side of the picture, cut off :-)

Wintertime

Mangling some purchased midi files*; means, I created the instrumentation & arrangement ...
I've blown the EWI trumpet & flute - the percussion is also drummed by me on a kid's dschembe :-)
... for sure no "real" rumba - it is rather rumba-ish :-) *Many of the MIDI files available for purchase require careful editing and modification, so fortunately, your own creativity remains indispensable.

This track is entirely based on a loop of my own sax, played 6 years ago .....;
it felt like the rhythm and feel of this lick was worth it :-)
I created someting completely new out of it with a fresh soprano jam on top :-)

Ballet of the Puppeteers

I revisited my 6 year old track https://soundcloud.com/joerxworx/rea287-3-peace-bells-with-a-kind-of-math-swing 
... changed the mix a bit and replaced my sax with an EWI trumpet.
I think it fits nicely with the coming days ;-) ... the math: 3 bells, each paired to a snare brush stroke,
with odd time signatures: 7/16, 9/16, 11/16 as continuous loops;
at 120 BPM, 7/16, 9/16, and 11/16 beat simultaneously together after 2 minutes and 53 seconds :-)

"Jörg S. born in Cologne, from youth on, is fascinated by all kinds of art, so he taught himself the saxophone very early. Nowadays flutes of all kind are also part of the equipment, as are jaw harps, percussion, bass, guitars and keyboards.
He was and is always involved in many band projects and session events.
In the 80s he was a saxophonist in the Adam Noidlt Intermission Orchestra with gigs in Berlin, Cologne, Düsseldorf and Basel. Very early on he also worked as a writer with live readings in the Cologne area and was a painter with large formats for many years, all in addition to his job as a graphic designer. Now, retired, he is devoted solely to music: home recording with the platform of choice, Soundcloud and global collaborations."
