With all the news about abuse and young girls in gymnastics, my heart hurt for them. This song, Hold Your Head Up, rose up in my heart and I wanted to share it to inspire young women to always speak out and hold their heads high. Truth always rises to the surface. God bless all of these young women and their families. Here's a rough cut. lyric:

I wrote this song at church in about 10 minutes at the end of a 20 year marriage. I was praying and asking the Lord for help, hope and a reason to smile. 
This is the demo version. I recorded it in a musical I did later and changed a few of the words to make it work in the musical.
