My name is Joe Spiro, and I'm a composer of film music, symphonic and chamber music, solo piano, jazz, rock, pop, and more.

I have a degree in music theory and composition, but I've learned as much from studying on my own as I have from teachers.  My software: Sibelius 6 (composing & recording), Garritan Personal Orchestra (sound library).  I've done some low-level film scoring (short documentaries, student films, etc), and I hope to someday make it a career.
