Kris Edland aka kLL sMTH has become somewhat of a household name here in his home Denver, Colorado. A city where there is no shortage of intelligent glitch Kris' music stands out as one of the more refined and mature sounds. His new EP "Flummoxed" released independently Feb 10th is nothing short of a sonic masterpiece. Highly technical, often incomprehensible production techniques and ever changing music styles throughout. We reached out to Kris and requested a mixtape featuring new music and tunes from artists he's been vibing to. Here it is!!! Volume 1 of my new mix series, "MegaChop!"

[ MegaChop is the cutting edge of Bass Music Playback Technology. Utilizing the power of Ableton Live, The MegaChop enables seamless 8 deck mixing - Allowing for completely unprecedented multi-drop & chop routine possibilities. Anything goes, and the goal is complete dance floor destruction. ]

This is a slightly modified version of the sets I played at Animalz in Paris and 50 Hurtz in Amsterdam... I added in a couple goodies and took out some repeat content from my 2016 Promo Mix.

Sonic Bloom 2016 Full Set

TheUntz.com is thrilled to present an exclusive mix from Jake Atlas, a.k.a. Thriftworks. Deliberately pulsing with eerie effects, shrouded in mystery, and leaning towards the syrupy end of the tempo spectrum, this 30-minute mix is bursting with unreleased content. Thriftworks' signature gooped-out hip-hop instrumentals blend flavors of the east with beats of the west, and the sonic backdrop is primed for getting busy on the dance floor and in the bedroom.

Thriftworks is set to embark on Bassnectar's Spring Tour, which hits a number of (relatively) intimate venues on the east coast. These special shows will be taking place in Boston at the House of Blues, The Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD, The Tabernacle in Atlanta, as well as dates in North and South Carolina. A number of those stops include multiple night stands, as well, so fans will get to see a broad spectrum of Atlas' music.

On May 30th, Thriftworks hits Infrasound Music Festival, presented by TheUntz.com. The next night, May 31st, he rejoins Bassnectar at the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Other notable stops this summer include Electric Forest, Big Dub Candy Mountain, Gratifly, Firefly, and Sonic Bloom.
