When I was in high school, I found a binder of poems on a bookshelf of my house. The poems contained inside were written by my great-grandpa, Francis "Papa" Sullivan. 

During his life, he wrote poems on a typewriter about life, love, loss, friendship...anything really. The poems touched me so much, I decided to find out what other members of my family thought--including, at the time, Papa's last living daughter, my grandma Pru. She has since passed away.
