It’s been a long time…. Justin Jay lands on Pets for the first time since his ‘Momentum’ EP in 2015 with a clutch of deep rumbling house jams. And he’s bringing along and old friend for the voyage.
Last spotted in cahoots on Freerange in 2016 with ‘Indecision’, LA’s Justin Jay and Stockholm’s Ulf Blonde splash down together once again with the fittingly-titled ‘Journey Across The Treacherous Sea’. With the drums gradually building from ebbs to tidal waves and back again, the waters flip from choppy to calm as the twinkling moonlight breakdown enters the mix… Before throwing us overboard again.
Ulf takes the control of the ship’s wheel for ‘The Transatlantic Untz’. Building on his releases on labels such as Justin’s Fantastic Voyage, Culprit and Room Temperature, the warm bass-tickled kicks and gentle sense of momentum provides safe passage with full heads-down heat.
Last but not least, Justin provides the final captain’s orders with the deliciously trippy ‘Land Ahoy’. Laced with ricochet textures and a gradual ascent into blissful sci-fi cascades, it’s a game of total hypnosis as more bleeps fly and swoop across the mix. Beautiful as always from all parties concerned. Bon voyage!

One year after leaving the Reilstreet, Ole Biege and Martin Waslewski team up again for the next round of Street Fighter 3. After their last years anthem to their old living adress "Reilstreet“, the two guys from Halle are back with another personal single. "Felted“, wich means "Detlef“ backwards is an Homage to Martins Dad who suddenly passed away last year. He will get a last personal tribute with this track.  
"Felted" is a great follow-up to their success track "Reilstreet" and continues it with another catchy piano line. Feel the personal vibes in every second because this one brings back the good thoughts to the dancefloor for a last dance with Detlef. Raise your glass and enjoy the ride…

It’s been a year and a half since we last saw La Fleur grace Watergate Records with a proper EP, having been featured on remix duties for Sasha’s ‘Trigonometry’ and her contribution ‘Femton’ to the celebrated 15 Years compilation.

So her brand new ‘Outbreaker’ EP arrives just in time to curb any impatience you might have waiting for her signature blend of house and techno aesthetics fused with modern production techniques that sets her apart from her peers.

La Fleur kicks things off with a wild heaving bass line and crisp, distinctive organic claps on ‘Devil Sigh’ setting the tone for the hypnotic groove that soon turns into a high energy burner of explosive bursts and an incredibly unique lead guaranteeing an absolute hit. It only gets better when one of the hottest acts on the scene, Tuff City Kids, lend their talents for a remix and turn ‘Devils Sigh’ into an analog heavy, future-retro banger that’s as different as it is the same as the original, creating a perfect alternative to the already killer original.

Wrapping things up, La Fleur takes it a little slower and deeper with ‘Outbreaker’ by utilizing lush organic percussion and washed out guitars to build a tune that will be the anthem for early mornings, open airs and beach sessions alike. We couldn’t be happier to have the first lady of Watergate back at the controls and we think you will agree.

After coming out with his record Ohana on Neovinyl Recordings earlier this year, Bolting Bits favorite Carlo returns with yet another release set to come out later this month. Titled Tres, the Malaga born producer has teamed up with his Berlin-based brethren at Suol records to deliver something for the hot summer months ahead. I do not know how the EP got its name, but as you'd most likely guess, the record consists of a total of 3 tracks. Each track is quite mellow in nature and showcases the producer's ability to pair the right amount of reverb to make listeners feel as if they're floating on thin air.

Take Carlo's original called B-162. What the song lacks in tempo is quickly compensated for by a multi-layered assortment of lush sounding vocals, spliced melodies, and inviting notes from a Rhodes piano. All of these elements give the track a light-hearted feel and make it the perfect candidate to soundtrack the start of any night or even upcoming rooftop soiree.

Lisbon-based DJ, producer, record shop owner, radio host and label owner Jorge Caiado delivers the latest release on his Groovement imprint titled 'Cycles', which comes complete with a chugging Acid Tool mix.

Showcasing his masterful machine work, Caiado’c acid-focused mix of 'Cycles' features perfectly executed but minimalist jacking claps that allow for the ballad to remain rolling and rhythmic. It's a pure dancefloor cut, one that undoubtedly works magic at peak-time moments.
