"I recorded this mix on a hot summer night after putting my kids to bed and drinking some orange wine from Georgia that had a trendy label. It features various repetitive beat music songs from what can only be described as the golden age of the genre; 1994-2022. I built the mix around three tracks: a dodgy progressive house record that I bought about 20 years ago and recently discovered sounds quite good at the wrong speed, a cracking unreleased cover of a trip-hop classic by Lew E., aka T. Wallace aka Tornado W., and a beautiful UR record that just ruins me every time. It took two takes because halfway through the first recording my mother messaged me on messenger asking why I was up so late. This is serious mum! Anyway hope you enjoy it. Thank you for listening. "
