I was abroad, staying in Memphis when I found an old 60s Gibson in a secondhand guitar store. I bought the guitar and this song was in it.  I could say the guitar wrote it as much as I did. 
My wife loves this genre, so I wrote the song for her.  
I produced and performed all the instrumentation as well as all the vocals.

EPISODE #420 (but you already know what time it is special)

Joey Bedlam is a singer, songwriter, lover of 1960's fashion, style and architecture.  She is also a model and a graphic designer and a pin-up artist.  DollSquad was Joey's main band for 10 years.  She is now doing some international music collaborations with various bands and writers from Europe and the US.  Even though Doll Squad was courted briefly by Kim Fowley, Joey chose to record DollSquad’s second album with Steve Lucas (of legendary Australian band X) at Bakehouse Studios in Melbourne. Making an album is not like buying a designer pair of jeans. You don’t go to some big-name producer just to get their ‘name’ all over your record. While it was the ultimate compliment to get attention from Kim Fowley, I felt that Australian bands should be utilizing resources at home whenever they can. Having said that there are some immense benefits in international producers for specific sounds that I might be chasing in the future and I am open to that.
