Born in Japan, raised in France/the UK and now based in London, E L L E is an exciting new voice rising from the rap underground. An entirely self-sufficient artist, her previously two singles (‘Hyacinth Kiss‘ and ‘Cookies‘) have been self-produced, with accompanying unsettling self-made videos that invite us into her world. A top-to-bottom banger, follow-up track ‘HYDRA’ snarls with noisy punk spirit, injected with E L L E’s sharp vocals: “Ain’t it funny how money breeds money”. “The track is sonically inspired by construction sites and the unstoppable and terrifying growth of urban sprawl,” E L L E explains. “I wanted to make a track that felt like the subway chase from Tetsuo the Iron man.”

He started his engine as the machine sprung into life beneath his weight. He was perched dangerously upon the bike as it roared and groaned with the might of a great beast rumbling inside. Out here in the midst of the desert there was nothing but sand and the flickering stars which glimmered in the dense black abyss which lay beyond the line of sight. The headlights of each motorcycle darted and beamed through the black highlighting the occasional shadow of onlookers in the late night. He was a specialist and soon he would zoom off into the world which lay beyond, he looked upwards and out at what might come next...

Electroménager is a new record label based out of Stuttgart having just announced the release of the first EP on the imprint. It features an assortment of driving UK techno and ambient soundscapes by Thodén who is then remixed precisely by Scottish producer Perko.

Coming to you live and direct from a narrow boat in the canals of Manchester, Two Tail is a master craftsman of smooth jazzy flavours - AKA the Ray Mears of House Music. So, trust him when he says: Don't Talk To Crows. With previous releases on Dansu Discs, Ad Hoc Records, Johnny Johnny and more, this may be his best work and it is a true pleasure to have him on the label. For fans of Seb Wildblood, Bonobo and Moomin, listen below.
