About Fideles :
Fideles is a project born of Italian duo Daniele Aprile & Mario Roberti. Emerging in early 2010, the pair have already released a substantial body of music to date, across a number of leading imprints. With the aim of delivering a mature and complete sound, their productions have found their way to release on labels including Josh Wink’s ‘Ovum Recordings’ & Oliver Koletzki’s ‘Still vor Talent’. Fideles’s rounded production, combining a mix of melodic and interesting layers, has turned heads of leading DJs and music fans alike. It’s evident from their recent EPs and mixes that Fideles are a duo that have a lot more to give. 2017 is set to be a turning point for the Italian duo. Having already released on Innervisions and with more equally highbrow productions scheduled for later in the year, Fideles are fast becoming a rounded and familiar electronic music act.

After a banger EP by Pepe Mateos and remixes by Timid Boy and Miguel Lobo,  Glitched is proud to announce his third release, this time with an EP by Andre Butano & Miguel Lobo the couple is famous for their groovy style focused on the dance floor.

Gem Records is back with a string of releases planned after a two month silence from the Dutch record label run by Secret Cinema. They start with a release by the Berlin based brothers from Japan: SUDO. 

Isao and Takashi Sudo are known for their energetic techno in the studio as well as on stage with releases on labels such as SCI+TEC. They deliver a strong 2 track EP with the massive A-side ‘Seventh’. The track has been tearing down roofs everywhere Secret Cinema plays with its driving groove, melodic break and frantic drop. Must hear!

B-side ‘Neu’ is a typical Gem with its melodic yet powerful sound. A simple setup, the song is built up of a piano lead, sawtooth bass line and a thumping groove that just keeps going. 

Those who follow Gem closely will notice that their latest release proudly ushers in new artwork designed by Josaiah Chong. The artwork tries to convey the colourful nature of Gem Records with its wide range of music with which it aspires to steer clear of the sound of the moment and present a more timeless alternative that still does its job on the main stage. 

Many releases are lined up on Gem Records for the second half of 2018 from the likes of Egbert, Ferdinand Dreyssig, VNTM and the long awaited follow up to Seance by label boss Secret Cinema. Stay tuned...

Landing on Nicole Moudaber's label for their 55th release (Sudo's favourite number, coincidentally) he comes bearing three heaving techno rollers all galvanised and piqued with his signature conceptual signature and thirst for fusion.

'Abstract' takes root from a trip to a Picasso exhibition. Shapes, colours, ideas, textures: how a minimal lead can suddenly flip into a brazen industrial juggernaut (and back again) at the flick of a switch. 'Transmission' continues this theme as calm becomes chaos and chaos becomes calm thanks to a rubbery warm kickdrum and a kaleidoscopic acid line that swoops and flexes across the spectrum. Finally we hit 'Dialogue' where a spiralling, rising lead and dubby shimmering synths creates both introspection and communication. Dialogue with the dancefloor, dialogue with yourself dialogue with the future… Where we expect to see this talent Kobe-born, Berlin-based artist return very soon.

Markus Homm delivers a driving mix of Bäcksvart & Simon Kiisks Old Souls. Markus has a reputation for delivering heavy hitting and rolling tech-house with an emotional twist and this is no exception. When DJ and producer Markus Homm steps behind the decks he has the unmistakable confidence of someone who knows exactly how to galvanise the dancefloor. His crisp, propulsive grooves have one clear mission: to get people to move their bodies.
	Markus makes this look easy, in part, because he has probably spent more waking hours on the dancefloor than anywhere else. Born in Romania and raised in Germany, Markus began ballroom dancing at age 12 and went on to become a world-class professional dancer. 
	His passion for electronic music blossomed as a teenager in the mid-90s. "House music was in the charts, on the radio and TV," he recalls. "One of my first nights out to my local club I saw Ultra Naté perform 'Free'. I got into that sound, lots of vocals, grooves, very happy positive music."
	As a teenager in the analogue age, Markus would go to the club on Thursday night then to the record shop on Friday to find out what the DJ played. "I would spend an hour choosing one record," he recalls. "It was always about the music." He bought one turntable, to listen to vinyl; then another, so he could DJ. Now, he plays all over the world, from Berlin and Tokyo, to the USA, Thailand and Australia. 
	Music was an escape from the rigours of training seven days a week, but Markus approached it with the same dedication. "Discipline within the dancing world helped me in the music world," he says. "Instead of partying I would get up on Monday and go to the studio. Dancing at a high level you analyse music and rhythms to find a way your body can show that. In the studio you do the same thing."
	There was never a "master plan", just passion and the organic evolution of his dancefloor grooves. Since his first official release in 2008, Markus has maintained a steady release schedule on  labels including Highgrade, Dynamic, 8bit, Poker Flat, Bondage Music, Saved Records, Bedrock and Still Hot. 
	His constant mingling of styles and histories creates a unique and exciting sound. Markus's DJ sets bear the traces of his musical evolution, from the uplifting vibes of classic house to the crisp precision of underground techno. "My life is about dancing, grooves, and music," he says. "Great music should get you in the mood, without you even realising it. That's what I want to do."
