"sometime familiar" is maybe the best distillation of LIMINAL SPACES of the entire tracklisting. Atonal ambiance juxtaposed with abrasive textures in form of scratching hi-hats, panned between your ears to throw off the equilibrium that the otherwise straightforward, calming melody and drum track try to set up.

I'm sure there's a million ways to put my take on this, but let me leave it to Yasiin Bey's words on a famous track of his: "I'm sure that everyone out listening agrees, that everything you see ain't really how it be."

Because it's not. And it's unnerving to even acknowledge it, let alone subconsciously - or even quite literally - live in the smattering of it all.
