Chaques has been writing for Groove Magazine in Berlin since early 2022. His musical upbringing took place in and around Munich, where he played at the now-closed but legendary Harry Klein club. The mix of Berlin and Munich influences his sound. He combines the old-school acid techno and house sound with bassline-heavy high-end productions of the new generation. With his understanding of music culture, he doesn't confine himself to one genre and can, for example at the Traumburg Festival, also showcase the laid-back and funky side.
