The Day When I Rise Up

Story:
Ada sebuah keluarga yang baru memiliki seorang anak perempuan, cantik dan pintar. Baru berumur 5 tahun dan baru saja masuk sekolah 1 minggu yang lalu. Dia suka bermain di sekolah dengan teman-temannya. Bercanda, berlari tanpa ada tangis.

Tak lama kemudian dia tak masuk sekolah. Dia sakit dan dirawat dirumah sakit. Sedih sekali, ternyata dia terkena penyakit leukemia dan divonis tidak bisa diselamatkan. Ayah dan ibunya menangis. "Kenapa kalian menangis" kata sang anak. Dan orangtuanya pun berkata, "Maafkan kami karena kami tidak bisa menjagamu. Maafkan kami." Sang anak bilang "Aku baik-baik saja. Aku akan bermain bersama teman-temanku besok."

Beberapa hari setelah itu dia akhirnya meninggal. Dia tersenyum dan bilang. "Sudah waktuku untuk pergi. Terima kasih telah menjagaku. Aku akan selalu ada di sisi kalian"

Cerita diatas hanyalah sebuah fiktif. Tapi lagu ini saya dedikasikan kepada semua anak-anak yang telah meninggal karena sakit.
