POLARIZER, the album from Joey Chaos and A. Walker reemerges from its slumber on Surkeus Records on November 26, 2021. 

Digitally absent for the past 4 years, POLARIZER is available on cassette, Bandcamp and all major streaming platforms. The album has been revisited from the original sessions and meticulously restored and expanded to include three remixes from the original release as well as two new remixes and an instrumental for the 2021 remaster.

Originally released as a DiY project in 2013, POLARIZER was reworked during the past 18 months of the pandemic and features collaborations with Kimmortal, Ada Rook and Teddybare with re-intentioned art by David Granneman. Combining synthpop, industrial, bedroom pop and the proto hyper-pop of the Tumblr era, this album offers a glimpse into the early experimental writing partnership of Chaos and Walker before the formation of Joey Chaos and The Ghosts in 2017.

Three darkwave angels based out of East Vancouver. The Ghosts are Megan Krenbrink on drums, Andrew Walker on guitar and Joey Chaos yelling into a mic. We melt digital technology with analog instrumentation to create distorted synthetic soundscapes, jagged guitar blasts and brutalist beats carrying shrouded words and dark dance vibes.
