PF003 // Adriatic 90s nostalgia rages on the sound of PF003 made by Dirty Channels teaming up with the master of italo/dream house Don Carlos. A 4 tracks EP with two original mixes: while Adriatico recalls that dreamlike atmosphere through the vocal “paradise”, Tirreno is a fat crowd shaker tune.
And as the sea is constantly changing its movement affected by the Sun and the Moon, the homonymous “Adriatico” track comes in various forms moved by multiple forces: the track appears in a dub mix that makes our souls vibrate and also in a downtempo atmospheric remix by the head honcho of Studio Barnhus Axel Boman and in a more dancefloor oriented by the iconic Dutch Dj Tom Trago. This is a real tribute to a never-ending Italian spirit!

Wormfood Records & One House Records are very pleased to announce the release of Afriquoi’s latest EP presenting two original tracks channelling afro and jazz fusion, backed with two remixes that rework the tracks for the dancefloor.

From humble beginnings in South London, Afriquoi have spent the last six years developing their own unique diasporic sound drawing on influences from across the African continent and reworking them for the dancefloor. The live show involves virtuoso musicians from Gambia, Congo and the UK and has been blowing the roof off festival stages and venues around Europe. In 2015 Afriquoi released their first album - Kolaba - to a sold out 1200 person audience at London’s Southbank centre.

“Can I Know You” is a frenetic collaboration with Kakatsitsi - a group of traditional drummers, dancers and singers from the Ga tribe of Southern Ghana. Since 1996 Kakatsitsi have toured the UK multiple times and have established themselves as one of the leading African traditional groups in the UK. Percolate resident and infamous party starters Krywald & Farrer regularly share the desks with the likes of Floating Points, Jeremy Underground and Motor City Drum Ensemble and provide a fitting house remix on B2.
