I listened to this mix every time I started my work music Friday.

Turning it on, I lit incense, I did yoga, I danced, I brewed coffee, I meditated. It has all of my inner world, which I portrayed through the chanting of Tibetan monks, chillrave, beautiful Soviet fairytale classics, a little bit of new jazz, lo-fi and of course mantras and teatime moods. 

This music is my check up, my mood, my voice and my teaching. 

I have listened to it hundreds of times and I wish the same for you. I dedicate it to the beautiful space in which I learned a great lesson.

Я слушал этот микс каждый раз, когда начинал свою рабочую музыкальную пятницу.

Включая его, я зажигал благовония, занимался йогой, я танцевал, варил кофе, медитировал. В нём есть весь мой внутренний мир, который я отобразил через пение тибетских монахов, чилрейв, прекрасную советскую сказочную классику, не много нового джаза, лоуфая и конечно же мантры и чайное настроение. 

Эта музыка мой чек ап, моё настроение, мой голос и моё учение.

Moving through the woodland there was a strange creature which walked alongside him in the dense glow of the twisted moonlight. He held his torch high to cast a small path of light ahead of his stride as the lion marched on in tandem. He was not the brave soul he had hoped he might find himself to be - the woods were dark and scary and as the trees howled and roared in the strain of the wind he began to shiver and shake. This place was spooky and haunted, like something from an old film. The sound echoed in the distance as he walked towards the light outside...

Koyil is he musical alias of Lev Zhitskiy who is set to release a new EP on Moscow based record label DIG Records. It's a beautiful, enchanting ethereal release which channels a wide range of instrumentation and style. Highly recommended, big TIP as some might say.

Bouncing between beats, Joey longs to bring an open minded way of producing to the electronic music scene. Growing up in Manchester in the Uk, his sound has been heavily influenced by house and techno, acid house, disco, rave, breakbeat, deep house, drum and bass and legendary land marks of house and techno such as The Warehouse Project and Sankeys just to name a few.

This thrive to discover more lead him on a journey to search for that perfect groove. 
After spending time in Ibiza and Berlin and finally relocating to Melbourne in 2015, where he dived straight in to Australias biggest dance music festivals, he has brought with him a head full of candy to pick out pieces for that perfect dance floor flavour.
