Why remix Toytown, there are plenty of versions? 

I wanted to explore spectral layers 8 in Cubase 11 and was listening to Bonkers 1 and thought let’s give Toytown the vocal mix a go. I got very close, unfortunately the artefacts from the Toytown stab was still quite present, even with further techniques I still wasn’t happy. The vocal is also out of key in places and any slight adjustment changed the stab sound underneath and caused too many issues. Hence the dub mix sounded a lot better and it’s now on my soundcloud page.

What’s next? I listened to Tom Heist remake of 'A Ha Ha Ha' by Hixxy. It wasn’t quite finished so I approached him and ask if I could finish it off. He sent me the stems and I got busy. More next week :)
