A N T I T H E S I S has partnered with Austin Farwell to bring about a beautiful, rich, melodic, but simple piano collaboration titled ‘Auspicious Pt. I’. This is the first ‘A N T I T H E S I S presents’ release as OUT.LI.ER Records continues to build its footprint in the piano genre; distributing additional pianists under the piano brand of ‘A N T I T H E S I S’. Austin Farwell and A N T I T H E S I S have a similar and complementary sound, and as we continue to build, OUT.LI.ER Records/A N T I T H E S I S will bring a new visual presence to the music of Farwell; navigating a darker, moodier and edgier look, style and feel, which will be reflected in the content we produce to support the release.

Hoje vamos fazer uma pequena incursão por territórios da música clássica. “Love, Hope, Desire and Fear” é o título de um disco que é igualmente uma viagem de auto-descoberta através do piano, das cordas e da spoken word. É uma história de amor, perda e solidão de uma mulher de 70 anos.

Tendo como ponto de partida o piano, e influências de artistas como Ryuichi Sakamoto e Philip Glass, o destaque deste terceiro episódio de O Meu Disco É Melhor Que O Teu conta também com a participação do violinista norte-americano Nathaniel Wolkstein e da poetisa alemã Roses Sabra, cuja voz dá corpo à história que envolve o álbum.

“Love, Hope, Desire and Fear” pretende quebrar a barreira e o preconceito que existem em relação à música clássica tradicional e erudita e assume-se como a primeira afirmação pessoal e real de José Tornada enquanto artista. Sejam muito bem-vindos.
