Wie war dein Weg bisher?
Superfreaking spannend :) Allerdings nicht immer einfach. Als transweibliche Person hab ich immer etwas den Struggle gehabt den passenden Space für mich zu finden. Queerparty's waren oft eher cis-male dominiert, feministische Räume wiederum von Cis-Frauen (samt den internalisierten Bauchschmerzen dort nicht so Willkommen zu sein wie auf dem ersten Blick anzunehmend). Zudem neigt man dann mit dieser intersektionalen Verschränkung von gender & transgender besonders häufig dazu eher den dekorativen PR-Zweck auf Timetables zu erfüllen – Für die Quote und eine augenscheinliche Parität. Auf den beschissensten Floor. Zur nervigsten Uhrzeit. Und ganz bis gar nicht bezahlt – Auch wenn ich mich noch so sehr verrenke um richtig abzuliefern. Und dann dem idealtypischen cis-male Dude mit Snapback die Crimetime überlässt, der gerade so gepackt hat vorm Auftritt seinen USB Stick zu exportieren. Ich kann mich total glücklich schätzen, dass ich (vor allem 90% FLINTA*)-Bookerinnen gefunden habe, die mir unabhängig von diesem Bullshit zutrauen richtig abzureißen. Und noch mehr auf eine super chillige Community, die mir z.T. absurd unausgeschlafen ewig lange Wege folgt um mich zu hören. Ihr seid total geil! <3

Was ist dir an einem Safer Space wichtig?
Die allgegenwärtige Frage für wen dieser Safe Space eigentlich sein soll. Und im weiteren Kontext der Versuch zu radikaler Empathie und annähernder Werturteilsfreiheit, um aus der eigenen Alltagsrolle entfliehen zu können, vielleicht sogar völlig neue Identitätsaspekte des Selbst entdecken zu können. Das wär voll schön.

Here’s my live recording from one of the most beautiful sunday morning sunrises so far in 2024, recorded upstairs at the Pastanaga party @ Hafenklang Hamburg. 🌅✨

🖼️If you want, picture this: It was mid April and the first real rave sunrise of the year for me. When I entered the club around 3AM I was all wet as it had rained outside on my bicycle ride to the club (of course, it’s Hamburg). The floor was sweating hot and nobody cared because it was like a sauna and moist anyways. In awe I walked through the disco lights labyrinth which the staircase became and slowly made it upstairs and through the crowd to the DJ booth. I played 4-6 AM, tough for the biorhythm but yet a wonderful time for the dance floor. ✨I was in lovely company, I felt very welcome and cared for - always someone handing me a glass of secco on ice, water or even holding the ice on my neck so I did not overheat. 🔥🥵🥰 So thankful for this kind of support and artist care! ❤ I played some of my favorite tracks and a lot of new ones - I couldn’t stop moving and singing along. I had a lovely and diverse crowd in front of me who jumped with their hands in the air and sang along, who held each other when the music turned cheesy, aaaww. I had a great time and I think the others felt it too :) 

So happy to be able to share my music! And so grateful that people and crews take so much time and effort to curate, decorate and create these spaces out of time & of cultural and communal experience outside of everyday life. Props to all of you! ❤👏🏼

Den perfekten Soundtrack für den Start ins sonnige Wochenende liefern wir euch mit unserem neuen Klangcast! Diesmal hat FRANCESCA ein verspieltes, deep-knarziges Set für euch aufgenommen. 2023 hat sie bereits zusammen mit ihrem DJ Kollegen Julius Jung die Bar im Sandpalast abgerissen. Dieses Jahr dürft ihr euch auf ihr Können im Zauberwäldchen freuen! 
 
FRANCESCA ist bekannt für ihren deepen, aber dennoch groovigen Sound, der von Slowtech bis hin zu Dark Minimal- und Psytechno reicht. Als langjähriges Mitglied des Bushbash Kollektivs hat Francesca nicht nur zahlreiche Club-Veranstaltungen und Outdoor-Raves in ihrer Heimatstadt mitorganisiert, sondern sich auch hinter den Decks einen Namen gemacht. Zudem ist sie seit Anfang 2023 Teil des Berliner Kollektivs Femquency und wirkt regelmäßig bei DJ-Workshops für FLINTA* Personen mit.

Wir freuen uns riesig über die Kooperation mit @kollektiv_bushbash und der daraus entstandenen LATZHOSENBANDE, die uns im Vorfeld tatkräftig beim Bühnenbau unterstützen werden. Und das nur, um den Dancefloor im Anschluss wieder fachmännisch auseinander zu nehmen!
