The remix drops the tranciness and is the better for it. However you know Teniente Castillo, you will only know good things. Whether you know the producer of slow and deliberate chunky techno, the label boss of Play Pal music, or whether you just know him as Fernando Pineda, the all round good guy! His Turn for the first compilation from the Sinchi Collective is as you would expect from such a talent, with live instrumentation, snappy snares and a bassline through dancefloors like a chainsaw.
The Sinchi Collective have long been synonymous with quality dance music while putting their name and their efforts to worthwhile causes, being at the helm of a long running podcast where they showcase their friends and most recently setting up a label of the same name. 
As well as turning in a mix which is out imminently, Mr Castillo has kindly contributed to the first Sinchi compilation, and it truly is firing on all cylinders, living up to the name ‘Altered States’. 
Make no mistake, the Ombra, Play Pal and Relish producer makes it clear that it is all about the music, but at the same time, It’s clear that Personality goes a long way.
