Nightfall

Singer-songwriter and guitarist Johan Asherton (born Paris 1958) was the founding member of The Froggies (1983-1986) and The Liquid Gang (1986-1987). He went on to pursue a solo career in the beautifully haunted tradition of Nick Drake and Leonard Cohen, releasing over twenty albums and compilations, touring Europe and beyond. His 2015 project, Johan Asherton's Diamonds, took him back to his "Lou Reed-meets-The Rolling Stones" rock'n'roll roots with a new, eponymous album. His 1988 debut album "God's Clown" was reissued in 2017 in a remastered, expanded edition. Johan Asherton's latest album "Passiontide" was released in May 2020.
