Recording artist Johan Markus was born John Mark Weber in Buffalo, New York. His Irish-born grandfather (Co. Donegal) was a fiddle player. His mother taught him to play the piano, and he took lessons on accordion and learned guitar from his brother Rob.  His dream was to play the drums, but that didn't happen, instead he has been mixing beats and sound loops on his Mac for the last ten years.
