Johan Sebastian es un DJ y productor asentado en Madrid. Su carrera musical comenzó en Londres, donde se hizo un nombre en salas como Egg LDN, Bloc, Ministry of Sound y Shelter. A partir de ahí, tuvo la oportunidad de compartir escenario con artistas destacados en clubs de Europeos como Golden Gate (Nápoles), Fundbureau (Hamburgo) y Kremlin (Lisboa). Desde su llegada a Madrid, ha participado en eventos de Crow, NewFaces, Phase.CTV, Bunkers Collective, LoopStage, AlterEgo, Hölle y Oxtechne. Además de comenzar su residencia con Symbole Community a comienzos del 2023, donde sigue creciendo e innovando como artista en la escena local.



Su música ha salido en compilaciones  de diversos sellos Europeos como Platform 22, Canticle, Influenced, Beluga, PRTL WRX, Obskura y Re.flect. Sus 2 últimos EPs , disponibles en Bandcamp, reflejan su evolución como como productor. Cada una de sus producciones se enfoca en ritmos contundentes y elementos hipnóticos pensados para la pista de baile.



Su estilo abarca diferentes subgéneros del techno, los cuales van desde el deep/dub, hasta el sonido tribal y hardgroove de los 90s y 00s. Adapta su selección musical según cada momento, manteniendo una energía constante a lo largo de sus sets mediante transiciones fluidas, elementos rítmicos dinámicos y atmósferas envolventes

Gordo Trax presents its first split, pairing STNDRD — a Portuguese producer based in Barcelona—with Wale’s Motion Symmetry for a four-track statement where pressure, momentum and atmosphere align. STNDRD sets the course with “Underdog”, a close-quarters groove that hisses and bites in all the right places, before opening the scope on “Temporal Voyager”, all taut drums and elastic low-end. 

The baton passes to Motion Symmetry as “Andromeda” widens the frame with cool, star-facing motifs orbiting a granite rhythm section, and “Serol” closes with steppy drum science and quietly luminous pads—letting the room exhale without losing drive. Two voices, one arc: a split that balances muscle and finesse while extending the Gordo Trax continuum.

Hailing from Berlin’s vibrant nightlife, Lukr Range is a DJ and producer carving her own path through the underground scene. Since 2017, she’s brought her hypnotic and driving sound to iconic venues such as Tresor, OXI, MELKWEG, Sisyphos, Anomalie and many more, sharing her energy across Europe, Africa, and South America.

In 2020, she founded SØNDER at Griessmuehle, a concept dedicated to fostering connection and artistic exploration within the global club culture. Her vision and dedication led her to become a resident for Tresor’s New Faces series in 2024, continuing to push boundaries and support the next generation of artists.

Always evolving, Lukr Range channels her passion for experimentation into hypnotic journeys, merging raw energy and deep atmosphere to connect dancers worldwide.

Z.I.P.P.O and Claudio PRC follow with “Marte Rosso”, a poetic excursion across Martian landscapes shaped by evolving pads and hypnotic grooves. Joining me for this first special lockdown episode is Seville based, Columbian born Johan Sebastian. 

Meeting Johan a little while back I was struck by his passion for the scene and the music we love. Shortly after that he was showcasing his own event “Eighth Road” at London’s we’ll known BLOC venue.

following this I was invited to play at showcase alongside Johan, Szier and Siah. Where I see Johan’s talent exceed expectations with an incredible closing set after DJ rush. Since Johan has been pushing his own ideas in the studio which has lead to a brilliant release on our own Platform 22 imprint.  

On tonight’s episode I’ll be asking Johan more about his experience with showcasing events in London as well as his Studio set up and workflow. Plus what feeds his inspiration through this current situation
