This EP tells the tale of a boy who suppresses all his negative emotions inside of himself, in efforts to escape them. By doing so, he only enhances the negative emotions, and pushes his own happiness deep into his subconscious. In short, "Nightland" represents a metaphorical fantasy world where the boy must face his deepest fears, and darkness, in order to find light again...

🧚 Dance of The Nymph

A boy stepped into the woods at dusk, and where the last light painted the sky green and blue, he saw a hundred nymphs. Dancing like fireflies, they took his breath away, for he had forgotten what beauty looked like. “Come with us,” a nymph said, and barefoot he followed her chanting, through moss and deep mire. “We will show you the most beautiful place on earth,” it promised, and led him deeper into nightland. “Dance with us, and we will give you back your heart.”

🔮 Mysteria

Soon the boy had nothing but the nymphs light to guide him. “Come with us,” it whispered, and he followed it onto a great cliff. There he could see a valley of deep black under a heavy hanging moon. The moon sang to him of a beautiful secret, waiting beyond the darkest valley; a valley he had made himself. The boy hesitated. Could there really be beauty beyond such a dark place? The moon gave him no answer, and filled with mysteria, the boy followed her gaze.

🕳️ Seek The Dark

The valley was darker than the deepest black, and before he knew it, the nymph was gone. With no little light to guide him, the boy stumbled into a hollow. There, he met a mask without a face, and it held in its hand a voice. A voice that sung his deepest fears, his torments and his horrors. “Have you come here seeking your heart?” the mask asked. “It is all here in my palm.” When the boy approached, the voice of his own heart grew louder. “But you cannot take it and leave these voices behind.” At first the boy fled, but wherever he ran, it followed. “This is not beautiful as you promised me,” he cried, but the nymph was gone. So finally the boy swallowed his fear, and sook out the dark that he had buried.

🌄Return Of The Sun

“See?” the nymph said, when he finally came to the other side of the valley, and sunlight hit his face. “Is it not beautiful?” The boy still heard the horrible voice of his own fears in his chest, and the dark was still there. But with his heart back, he could see all the colours of the rising sun."
