I finally found this mix after YEARS, over a decade of searching for it. This moment in the first song has been stuck in my head since 2005 when I first heard it. I'd been looking for this for years, but I always came up empty handed. I heard this before the days of youtube, or pandora. I'm almost positive I first heard this on DI.FM way back then, which is where I always went to listen to EDM/Trance mixes. This entire mix, but most specifically this first song at this specific transition in the song, is one of the most memorable things I've heard in this genre in my 35 years of life on this planet. And it looks like this was only just recently put back up on the internet for all to hear again only in the past year. THANK YOU man. The only thing I remembered about it from way back then was "DJ Irish" and I thought the mix was just called "Havanna". So incredibly grateful to have found this again.

Hi! My name is Johan and this is where I post my various mixes. I've been DJ-ing since 1997 and am Senior Curation Director at DI.FM (www.di.fm). I've been doing these mixes since early 2000 and they feature whatever the heck I'm into atm but usually it's some sort of current Techno, Acid Techno, Progressive House, Hard Trance OR retrospectives about various labels and artists from the 90s.
