Fer - Paseo EP [KMND005]

Life in Cologne is colourful, diverse and open to new things. That's why the electronic artist Johann Gitters decided many years ago to start his music career here. Growing up with the beats of the 90s, he has now been producing music in the form of a mixture of melodic house and deep house for almost 20 years. The trend goes back to consume melancholic, driving, but also warm analogue sounds at the same time. That's exactly what Johann Gitters sounds like. 

Influenced by a strict piano teacher, he recognises and uses harmonies and compositions of sounds that make his music unique. He is inspired by artists such as Paul Kalkbrenner (always!), Matthew Herbert, Acid Pauli, Boris Brejcha, Marek Hemmann. 

The artist is currently working on live sets, for which he has only been able to get enthusiastic about in recent years, and new EPs. In doing so, he is increasingly practising vocals to give the whole thing more depth. His sets, which are in the minimal/electronic range, are supplemented by his own tracks when they are played.
