Eclectic house duo andhim step up to Get Physical to remix Blanka Mazimela feat. Korus & Sobantwana's 'Gcwanini' which originally came on this label in 2020 on Africa Gets Physical Volume 3.

South Africa's Blanka Mazimela is a label mainstay and one of Afro house's finest artists. This tune is one of many that have proven that point and is the perfect source material for acclaimed German pair andhim. They have long been a core part of the underground and mix up their creative output as filmmakers, music producers and record label owners. They have dropped more than 60 major releases, play 100s of international shows a year and head up Superfriend Records.

The superb 'Gcwanini' (andhim Remix) is a spine-tingling sound that lifts the spirits and enriches the soul. It has stirring vocals and authentic Afro-house flavours in the percussion and chord work. The grooves are as organic as house music gets with expressive leads and tribal chanting all working their magic throughout the track.

This is a masterful remix from andhim that brings an all-new dimension to the original, which is also included in the package.

Indira Paganotto born in 1992 and is currently one of the youngest producer of the national electronic music. Indira has had an eclectical musical education . Her father, DJ in Goa (India) in the 90 was her musical reference from small and his collection of acid house, trance goa, jazz and rock psychodelic was the perfect library for the young italocanary.

At 16 she became interested in the vinyls of her father and began to DJing in clubs on the island. The following year Ian Pooley signed her on his label, she created her first vinyl "Underground Love " with collaborations Jef K Gwen Maze, G-Room and Ian Pooley.
She released her second vinyl in 2014 in Pooledmusic, called "Time out Man " . having played in some of the best clubs in Europe like the Rex Club (Paris), Egg Club (London), Harry Klein (Munich), Gare Porto (Portugal), Wooz Club (Switzerland), Delay Club (Milan), Goa - Fabrik (Madrid); and sharing the stage with International artist like Marco Carola, Oxia, Philip Bader, Ian Pooley, Sven Vath, Marc Houle, Dj Hell, Davide Squillace, Maral Salmassi, Dasha Rush, Steve Bug, among others.
Indira sets are full of groove and forcefulness, she draws on elements from all genres including psyprogressive, minimal, techno, and house, not afraid to blend genres or styles, always with organic acid touches , reminiscent of her heritage musical. This energetic eclecticism has become her main signature, with her constant smile.

2017 comes loaded with new features for Indira Paganotto, launches her third vinyl in Pooledmusic and she is preparing her first album that soon we will have news. Under her aka ID-22, she releases on Out Of Mind Records, label imprint of Philip Bader and she is preparing three new references, one of them will come out on her own label, Node Orbit.

EMOTIONAL #57

Life in Cologne is colourful, diverse and open to new things. That's why the electronic artist Johann Gitters decided many years ago to start his music career here. Growing up with the beats of the 90s, he has now been producing music in the form of a mixture of melodic house and deep house for almost 20 years. The trend goes back to consume melancholic, driving, but also warm analogue sounds at the same time. That's exactly what Johann Gitters sounds like. 

Influenced by a strict piano teacher, he recognises and uses harmonies and compositions of sounds that make his music unique. He is inspired by artists such as Paul Kalkbrenner (always!), Matthew Herbert, Acid Pauli, Boris Brejcha, Marek Hemmann. 

The artist is currently working on live sets, for which he has only been able to get enthusiastic about in recent years, and new EPs. In doing so, he is increasingly practising vocals to give the whole thing more depth. His sets, which are in the minimal/electronic range, are supplemented by his own tracks when they are played.
