'Solemnis' was composed and released through Sanfilippo's personal Label ad21 in Buenos Aires, just the year of its foundation, in 1998. This work was opportunely presented in Compact Disc (1.000 copies). In the creation process Bruno used - as in the previous two albums still discontinued - a MIDI sequencer Alesis MMT-8, a Kawai K4r synthesizer, the Ensoniq EPS 16+ sampler, the EMU Proteus 2 and 3, and an Alesis Quadraverb processor, today those are clearly vintage...

Bruno is an Argentinian classically trained musician, producer, and composer based in Barcelona who writes for strings, piano, and electronics.  In 1998 he started as a producer for ad21, a personal platform and label. His Piano Textures series, started in 2007, is one of Sanfilippo’s most representative set of recordings, but he has also gained wider recognition in modern music – one of his piano compositions formed the basis for Canadian rapper Drake’s seminal hit, ‘Started From The Bottom’.
