Originally, "Deep Thoughts" was a completely free improvisation of about 11' length. But then i decided to shorten , change some notes and edit some dynamics. Now it is what i call an "Improvision", a coinage between improvisation and composition. What you can hear now, is the third version of the original upload. Hope you enjoy!

Yesterday, i recorded this wonderful Sarabande by J.S. Bach. It's a marvel!  And for me, it's  a piece of peace! Hope you enjoy!

On Sunday, before dinner,  i had only 10 minutes  time to let Monsieur Carl play and record something, and this entirely free Improvisation came out: "Monsieur Carl Is Praying". Hope you enjoy!

Yesterday, i recorded this Improvisation in spite of a drilling mashine in the neighbourhood. I didn't want to let it bother me, so i put on my headphones and startet playing " Monsieur Carl Is Straying". Hope you enjoy!

Tomorrow,  i will have to say goodbye to my beloved Kawai GS 30 Grand Piano, because the pianomovers will arrive and bring it to its new owner. Although i got a fantasic second Steinway a few years ago, and i don't really need three Grand-Pianos(what a luxury), i  don't give it away without a certain wistfulness, because i spent a lot of time playing and recording  this wonderful instrument.  This CD catches a glimpse of the essence of our recording-collaboration, which consists mostly on J.S.Bach & Johannes Heinen, so i decided to arrange a conversation and let them talk to each other, because that's what i do anyway very often: playing a piece by Bach (or another musical giant), and improvising in my own style. I hope you enjoy!
