For Legend’s sophomore album Kanye West resumes his role as executive producer, but Once Again is a mellower affair than Get Lifted. The songs get their gentility from Legend’s low, cocoa-smooth vocals, which never fail to bring a potentially hyper song to a place of calm. Though Once Again features an impressive assembly of producers — including Craig Street, will.i.am and West (all contributed multiple songs) — Legend is wholly in control of the album’s tone and tempo. The hip-hop underpinnings are balanced by the elegant jazz of “Again” and “Maxine.” “Where Did My Baby Go” is so simple that it feels timeless — it could be a piece of an old album by Arthur Alexander or even Joan Baez, made new again by Legend’s warm breath. “Save Room” is a song that glides so sweetly and effortlessly that it challenges every shred of malice that might be lurking within the listener. Even sweeter is “Slow Dance,” a melody as compact and pretty as a jeweled pocketwatch.

Nearly one year after its initial announcement, Arapaima's debut EP finally sees the light of day. Split in two four-track parts, "Sun Key" comes out over the course of 2 months. 

"Sun Key" is the English interpretation of the Romanian term (sanky) for 'syke', a half passionate, half tongue-in-cheek attitude towards or regarding something. With a mixture of witty edits of older club classics and his soothingly intense trademark sound, Arapaima gives everyone a glimpse into his artistry and general demeanor. 

Having a side-job in the local scene's pop music production, Robert emphasizes his versatility and sense of genre-borderless appeal through his output on Origami Sound.

JAMES ORGAN is a name rising through the ranks and rapidly cementing himself as one of the finest house and techno producers and DJs around.

2019 became a breakthrough year for the Liverpool-based DJ playing to huge crowds at Parklife, Reading & Leeds, Wilderness, We Are FSTVl, Creamfields, The Warehouse Project and many more alongside heavy support from BBC Introducing and releases on the likes of Street Tracks and VIVa Music. James also held down a residency at Liverpool’s famous club night Circus warming up for and grabbing the attention of Hot Since 82, Loco Dice, Sven Vath, Larry Heard and many more.

James has built up an impressive catalogue of releases for 2020 including Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep In Sound, Yousef’s Circus Recordings, Steve Lawler’s VIVa Music and Danny Howard’s Nothing Else Matters imprint, with much more to come later in the year. As industry heads started to turn so did Radio 1 as they quickly picked up James’ tracks for major support with Pete Tong, Danny Howard and Jaguar - all championing James as the one to watch right now and with good reason.
